Activities by Hungarian classes.

Activity 1:

Class 6.c and 6.d took part in a maths lesson that was organized with historical elements.

Students made Power Point presentations about Bolyai Farkas, who was one of the most famous Hungarian mathematicians. They explored units in the past and compared them with those which are used nowadays. Playing with Sudoku was also part of the lesson.

Activity 2:

We held a Maths lesson on famous Hungarian mathematicians on 24th January. Students gave some presentations about these people’s lives and work. There were 11 gropus of 3. After the presentations they took part in a competition, they had questions about what they had heard. The first three groups got valuable tools used in Maths lessons.
